I am trying my hardest to make sure that this isn’t Romanian Minimal Techno DJ Mix Of The Week.

But quite simply, this one-hour mix from Priku, is captivating from start to finish.

He doesn’t seem to get quite as much recognition as some of the others such as Barac and Cristi Cons, despite having been around many years and having a wealth of productions behind him.

This mix is glowingly understated, quite hypnotic and rolls through varying emotions. My favourite track is Vieux Piano by Dan Noel (circa 7 minutes) – although only a small handful do I recognise, let alone know by name.

I highly recommend a listen – and a share. And seek out his Sunwaves mix from 2014 – it is even better.
