DJ Mix Of The Week

Another week, another Romanian minimal techno DJ, Matei Tulbure.

Matei Tulbure is someone that I’ve been following for quite a few years now. He’s still fairly unknown, just a couple of productions to his name (at least solo productions anyway) – I do feel that he has yet to be truly taken notice of.

This is another excellent mix from him. Two hours of sublime, flowing minimal – always understated, peaking around halfway with the magnificent “Very Exciting” by Ricardo Villalobos – it almost seems as though the first half of the mix was building up to that moment.
