In these strange times I thought I should post something more upbeat – and little is more upbeat that a Move D DJ set.

There are a plethora of Move D sets and if you listen to a few within a short period of time, they can be a bit samey – records seem to get stuck in his box. That isn’t necessarily a criticism, it can be good to have some musical expectation – especially when almost all the tracks he plays are true moments of joy.

This is different. A 2 hour radio show, featuring only Move D’s productions and collaborations, mostly mixed. You probably have your favourite, be it ‘ Silk Dub’ or ‘ I Gave My Love’ (my favourite) and it is surprisingly how they all fit together so well, yet there is a journey thing going on – it becomes surprisingly low-key for a while near the end, before taking you back into a party.

Quite possibly my favourite tracks are the more unknown, super atmospheric ones before ‘To The Disco 77’ starts.

I expected to enjoy this, but I enjoyed it a lot more than I expected. Enjoyment rating of 7.78.

I still feel like I’m searching for the perfect Move D set.
