There’s a plethora of Move D mixes out there, so what makes me pick this one, I wonder?

This is actually the third time that I’ve featured the master of moving from languid sounds to house – all of his mixes are at least two hours long, some much longer, this one does scrape a little under the two hour mark.

It’s the dreamy minimalish sounds of Jacob Ohrberg’s Trip To Ragol that grabs my attention 20 minutes into the mix – in fact, much of the first hour is Move D at his dreamiest best – and if you watch the YouTube video, he just seems to dreamily contented with life.

And then there’s the beauty of Bobby Cazanova’s Vision Of Lineland – not a track that has appealed to me before, because I’ve never heard it pitched down like Move D plays it here.

The mix goes more house-orientated, as you’d expect from him, but really this is more a home-listening mix, more meant for a morning than an evening.

Classy as always. Enjoyment rating of 7.08
